One Fest Careers Fair

ONE Fest is a three-day cultural celebration welcoming 54 African nations, 21 Caribbean Islands, and numerous Afro-Latinos from South American countries. Each country has the opportunity to showcase its dynamic and creative artistic experiences through music, dance, drama, art, unique sports, and games.

The One Fest careers fair caters to the employment needs of everyone with a focus on the BAME(Black, Asian, and Minority Ethnic) communities and those part of the SEND(Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) community.

• Gain insight into your options after education whether you are currently doing a degree or A-level courses 
• Develop soft skills such as communication whilst networking with future employers and other students
• Standing out from the average crowd by talking to the employer directly instead of just applying online

• Unemployment rate for 16 to 24 years old has increased by 104,000 from August 2023 to October 2023
• Feedback from graduates and postgraduates has indicated that career fairs have benefited them in terms of networking with employers face-to-face and determining whether the industry is fit for them.
